Well, here we are then. I was a bit nervous about starting a family history website to start with. That seemed to run fairly smoothly as a process so the next logical step seemed to be to create a blog. Why? I don't know...it just seemed the thing to do, and it's a good place to keep track of running thoughts as I research...as well as maybe hear from other family who are interested, have comments or suggestions, etc.
This week has been a busy one at work, so I've had more or less limited time to post more on the site. Once I get caught up with past obituaries, I think it'll be much easier to maintain. The stack in the "to do" rubbermaid is slowly shrinking as they can be placed in the "done with for now" rubbermaid. I'd like to finish the LaClair pictures this weekend, then start another line from those already scanned in. More realistically it'll probably be a week or so before I'll be able to say I'm done to date with that line. So far I've focused on the oldest ones I have...there were more in the file than I realized. I also have some letters from the WWII era (and before) that I'm anxious to scan in and post, but want to get what I have waiting to do finished before I start more right now.
