Alderson, Goldie - Goldie Elaine (Nixon) LaClair Alderson, 84, formerly of Standish, passed away Dec. 21, 2003 in Anaheim, Calif.
She was born in Standish on Oct. 15, 1919. She and her husband, Ray LaClair, and daughters, Shaundell and Cheryl, moved to
Anaheim, Calif., in 1949, where she was a resident for 52 years. Mrs. Alderson was a junior high school teacher. Her husband, Ray
LaClair, passed away in 1954. In 1961 she married Jim Alderson who predeceased her in 1995. Survivors include: two daughters,
Shaundell Lentz and Cheryl Helugin; two stepsons, Robert Alderson and Tom Alderson; two stepdaughters, Jean Howard and Lois
Montgomery; one sister, Amie Allen; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services
were held on Dec. 27 at United Methodist Church of Garden Grove. Burial was at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, Calif. Funeral

Allen, Abbie - Two Woman In West Grant Meet Death Suddenly. Last week Mrs. Sylvester Allen of West Grant went to Charlotte to visit
her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Axford. While there she died somewhat suddenly and the body was brought back and funeral held at Roy
Allen's on Tuesday. While assisting there Mrs. John R. Johnson, a neighbor dropped dead on Monday. The funeral will be held today

Allen, Janet Grace - Janet Grace Allen, age 55, of AuGres passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2006 at her home with her family by her
side. She was born Oct. 17, 1950 in Omer, the daughter of James and Alma McCourt. She babysat for many children over the years
and also bartended at the Drydock Bar in AuGres. Janet is survived by her husband, James; two sons, Jimmy and Johnny; one
granddaughter, Chelsea; three sisters, Sharon, Phyllis and Glenda; and one brother, James. A memorial will be held on Feb. 4, 2006

Allen, Sylvester - Sylvester Allen was born in Baymon township, Ontario, Can, Oct. 29, 1854. He came to Michigan in 1871 and May
14, 1877, was married to Miss Abbie Parmeter of Mt. Morris. In 1893 he moved to Clare county and located on a farm in Grant
township where he has since lived. He died at the home of his son Aaron Feb. 14, 1920, his wife preceding him but a few days. He
leaves two daughters, Mrs. Axford of Charlotte, and Mrs. Tiedeman of Farwell and one son Aaron, also three brothers and many other
relatives and friends. The funeral, in charge of Rev. H. W. Burd, was held at the home of the son on Monday with burial in Cherry

Anderson, Pearl - Anderson, Pearl - formerly of Clio, age 91, died Tuesday, June 16, 1981 at Mary James Nursing Home, Montrose.

Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson was born in Mt. Morris Twp., July 17, 1889, the daughter of Eleazor and Lucy (Parmeter) Thompson. She
resided in Genesee County all her life. She married Andrew Anderson who preceded her in death in 1965. Surviving are
step-daughter, Mrs. Irene Seary of Clio, daughter-in-law, Mrs. Addie Smith of Okemas; 1 granson, Roy Seary of Clio; sister, Mrs. Bertha
Pryor of Clio; brother, Robert Thompson of Flint; several nieces and nephews. Her son, John preceded her in death in 1969. Friends

Armatis, Julia - Wyandotte resident Julia J. Armatis, 66, died Sept. 2. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; sons, Frank Papp, and Paul, Gregory, Joseph and John Armatis; daughters, Eleanor Sturgill, Dolores Frodyma and Delphine Kish; brothers, John, William and Harry Jakubiec; sisters, Elsie Szostak, Rose Zuk, Esther Dziuban and Frances LaClair, plus 38 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Arnold, Mary I. - Mrs. Mary I. Arnold, 60, of Whispering Pines Road, died on Saturday, Oct 6, 1984, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh on June 4, 1924, the daughter of Frank and Charlotte ( Seymour) LaClair. On July 3, 1943, she married Glenn L. Arnold in Plattsburgh. Arnold of the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, N.C, Investigator Dale R. Arnold of the Arkansas State Police, Pine Bluff, Ark., Garen R. Arnold, Lewis E. Arnold Jr., Carson F. "Kevin" Arnold and Keith D. Arnold all of Plattsburgh; six daughters, Mrs. Frank (Sandra L.) Lanjan, Miss Charlene A. Arnold and Mrs. William (Glenda M.) Desso, all of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Mark (Francine E.) Yanulavich of Albany, Mrs. Thomas (Michelle M.)
