Carl was born March 8, 1910 in Cambria, IL. He married Mamie Glasco September 14, 1929. She died July 2, 1993. Carl worked at the Fisher Body Division for 44.5 years, retiring in December 1972. Surviving are children Doris (Gale) Sergent of Burton, Carl R. (Marilyn) Farmer of Davison, Bill Farmer of Denver, CO and Carole Sue (Bill) Leonhard of Grand Blanc; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Myrle Bradford and Elsie Glasco; many nieces and nephews. Fitzgerald, Amanda Therese - Amanda T. Fitzgerald, of Byron, 20, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc. A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2002, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 118 E. Lord St., Gaines, Fr. Robert McKeon celebrant. Cremation has taken place. Amanda was born in Flint, Michigan, on December 5, 1981, the daughter of John J. and Theresa R. (Stadler) Fitzgerald. She lived in the Byron area since 1986. Amanda was a graduate of Byron High School-Class of 1999. She played Varsity Softball for 4 years, where she made All-Conference 3 of those years. She made All-State in her Junior and Senior years. In 1999, Amanda set a state and national strikeout record with 596 strikeouts. She played on 4 softball travel teams-Bandits of Milford, Richmond Blues of Richmond, Motor City Madness of Novi, and Michigan Oilers of Richmond. Amanda received a full ride scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Kenosha, Wisconsin. In her first year, she made All League and led the league in strikeouts. She was named Rookie of the Year. Amanda was head cashier at the Polo store in Howell.Surviving are: her parents, John and Theresa; grandparents, Pauline Stadler of Mt. Morris, Fred Stadler of Mt. She was born June 25, 1913, in Cohasset, to Lawrence and Hazel (Prescott) Gift. She was a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids and was an active member of the First Church of God. She was united in marriage to Thomas E. Fitzgerald August 5, 1937, in Grand Rapids. Flick, Lenore - Lenore Flick, 87, of Standish, died March 2, 2004 at Sterling Nursing Center. She was born on Feb. 28, 1917 in
Standish, the daughter of Therma and Belle (Trudell) Mayer. She married William Flick on Jan. 22, 1949 at St. John the Baptist
Church in Standish. They resided in Sterling throughout their marriage, and she continued to raise her family there following her
husband's death in 1958. She later moved to Standish, where she resided until 2002 when she moved to the Sterling Nursing
Center. Survivors include her four children, Robert (Marianne) Flick of Sterling, Jean Dudley of Standish, Sharon (Ted) Schantz of
Roseville, Calif. and Joyce Flick of Prescott, Ariz; three brothers, Donald of Union Pier, Buster (Lawrence) of Sterling and Howard
Mayer of Saginaw; two sisters, Teenie (Florence) Sulkowski of Clinton Township and Madonna Sheppard of Sterling; eight
grandchildren, Ronda (Darren) Roebuck of Littleton, Colo.; DeLynn Dudley of Standish, Bill Flick of Sterling, Lynn Flick of Ortonville,
Becky (Steve) Cook of Sterling, Adam Flick of Bay City, Jarad Shook of Bay City and Chris Schantz of Roseville, Calif.; and many nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet (Steve) Shook of Bay City; her brother Leo Mayer, and her sister,
Corrine (Art) Trombley of Standish. Mrs. Flick was a member of Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church of Standish and was very
active as a Lay Minister, a member of the R.C.I.A. program, an Eucharistic Minister. She also delivered Holy Communion to the sick
and served as a lector, a Jail Minister, a Nursing Home Minister and a Hospitality Minister. She also taught religious education,
volunteered at the Thrift Store and Sterling Nursing Center and was involved with the prayer network. She helped every year with the
Christmas Basket program and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was on the committee for the merging of the two
parishes. Outside of the church she was a member of the Bay County Women's Center and the Arenac County Child Protection
Council. The Funeral Mass was celebrated on March 6, at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, with Rev. James Fitzpatrick
officiating. Interment followed at Resurrection of the Lord Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to

Foco, Arthur D. - Foco, Arthur D. Jr. (Artie) Standish, Michigan Mr. Foco, age 24, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2003 from injuries
received in a snowmobile accident. He was born in Bay City to Arthur & Angelia (Aguirre) Foco on March 14, 1978. Artie was a
graduate of Standish Sterling High School Class of 1996. He married the former Ann Marie Murphy. She survives him. He was an
employee of Custom Engineering, a member of the Sheet Metal Worker's International Association, and Resurrection of the Lord
Catholic Church. He enjoyed the out of doors, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife, Ann. Artie was a
wonderful and loving Dad to his daughter, Kaitlyn Foco and son, Dawson Foco; his father, Arthur Foco Sr.; his sisters: Kellie Lyons
and Alicia Foco & Shaun; grandparents, Lydia Aguirre and Gertrude Foco & Leonard. He was preceded in death by his mother, Angie

Foco, Mark - Mark Foco rites in Arizona. Mark Allen Foco, age 48, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, in Yuma,
AZ. after a lingering illness. He was born May 17, 1955, in Bay City, and grew up in Pinconning. He spent the last 25 years in Texas
and Arizona employed as a construction worker and carpenter. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Judy (Foco) McEachern
and Donald McEachern, of Bay City. He was predeceased by his father Fred L. Foco, of Saginaw. Also surviving are three sisters, two
brothers, and their spouses: Diane and Gary Preston, of Bay City, Fred J. Foco, of Pinconning, Brian and Deanna Foco, of Ionia, Jane
and Dave Cornell, of SC, Mary Jo McEachern, of Midland, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private

Folts, Clifford M. - Services Held for Clifford Folts. Clifford M. Folts, 48, of Grout Township, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Bay City, following an illness of one month. Born in Great Valley, N.Y., on May 21, 1919 he came to Gladwin County 35 years ago. He was employed by Dow Chemical Company and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Folts was married to the former Viola Cornell on Feb. 8, 1958, in Gladwin. Frank, John - John "Jack" Frank, 76, of Sterling passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. Jack was born in Wyandotte, Mich. on July 31, 1930 to Frederick and Appalinia (Jonas) Frank. He married Bethany Burke in Wyandotte in 1954. She preceded him on March 12, 2006. Jack worked for Magline Inc. in Pinconning and was a Korean war veteran and member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. He is survived by seven children, Ken (Sue) of Pinconning, Mark (Peg) of Twin Lake, Katherine (Mike) Loughlin of Cement City, Linda (Don) Loucks of Parma, Kim Smith of Sterling, Beth Frank of Wisconsin, John Frank of Lansing; thirty grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. the Mt. Morris Township Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Freeman was employed by Buick Motor Division for 30 years, retiring in 1972.

Brian Frost; one son, Jacob Thomas Frost; three sisters, Cindy (Chad) Cranmer, LaVonne (Jason) Pritchard, and Amanda (Josh)
Holbrook; one brother, Thomas N. Trombley; two nieces, Samantha and Erica Pritchard; and two nephews, Zachary and Brendan
