Nagy, Clara - Clara H. Nagy, 84, Prudenville, died Oct. 6, 2005, at her home. Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, handled
arrangements. Private services will be held. Mrs. Nagy will be buried next to her husband at Linwood Cemetery, Linwood. Mrs. Nagy
was born in Linwood July 21, 1921, to Arthur G. and Anna Mary (Blondin) Heritier. She lived most of her life at Houghton Lake and in
Curtis. She and Anthony J. Nagy were united in marriage Oct. 29, 1938, in Linwood. Her husband preceded her in death July 27, 1994.
Also predeceased was her brother, Bernard Heritier. Mrs. Nagy was a homemaker and attended St. Timothy Catholic Church, Curtis.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling and had been from Florida to Alaska. She had been a volunteer at King Nursing Centre until
she became ill. Surviving Mrs. Nagy are her four children, Larry Nagy of Prudenville, Daniel and his wife Louise Nagy of Maple Valley,
Cindy Metcalf of Curtis and Jane and her husband Howard Lewis of Prudenville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister,

Nagy, Jeffrey - Mr. Nagy, age 37 years, peacefully slipped away from this world and into Heaven on November 5, 2002. He was born
on September 17, 1965 to Alexander and Victoria (Rash) Nagy. He married the former Rebecca Hudman on September 1, 2001 in
Roswell, New Mexico. She survives him. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Roswell, New Mexico. He is survived by his
wife; 3 sons: Christopher, Jacob and Bradley Nagy; 2 step-daughters: Tiffany and Jennifer Back; his mother & step-father, Victoria and
Richard Fischer; 3 sisters: Bethany and James Nicklyn, Lori and James Bugby, and Jodi and Rob Fitch, along with 3 nephews and 2
nieces. Jeff is predeceased by his father and a nephew, David Bugby. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at

Neelands, Jeanette C. - Neelands, Jeanette C. (nee Wolcott) - Of Clio, age 82, died Saturday, December 8, 2001 peacefully,
surrounded by her loving family at the Montrose Nursing Home after 20 years of having Alzheimers. Funeral services will be held 11 a.
m. Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 353 E. Vienna Rd., Clio, Pastor Roger Gedcke officiating with
interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today and from 2-9 p.m. Monday at the Whipple O'Guinn Family Funeral
Home, Clio. She will then lie in state at the church after 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. Contributions may be made to
Bethany United Methodist Church or the Alzheimers Association. Jeanette was born in Flint, MI September 9, 1919, the daughter of
the late Robert and Mabel (Fleming) Wolcott and lived in Clio since 1943, coming from Mt. Morris Twp. Jeanette was united in
marriage to Marshall Neelands on August 14, 1943 in Flint. She worked at AC briefly, then Neelands Hardware for a few years, and
she especially enjoyed working at the family owned business, Wolcott's Cider Mill and Apple Orchard. But her true love, was being a
homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church and was active in many of the church
activities. She was Past President of the Clio Womens Club and a charter member of the Clio Golf Course. Surviving are: her
husband, Marshall; 2 sons, Tom (Lynn) Neelands, John (Vicki) Neelands; 2 grandchildren, Tim (Michelle) Neelands, Sarah Neelands,
all of Clio; 1 sister, Katie Riddlemoser of Grand Blanc; 2 sisters-in-law, Jessie Neelands of CA, Aleene Wolcott of Frankenmuth; 1
brother-in-law, Dick Houghton of Clio; several beloved nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Frank
and Paul Wolcott; 3 sisters, Betty Houghton, Tippy Clune and Marchie Reavely. Thanks to Wanda Howard and to the Heartland

Nelson, Adella L. - Mrs. Nelson, age 84, passed away on January 2, 2007, at St. Mary's of Standish Hospital. She was born to the late Theron and Gladys (Cole) Monroe on July 18, 1922, in Essexville, MI. Adella retired from Bay Medical Center and was a member of the Saganing Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters Joann (Leon) Wray and Sonja Bordeau, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers Theron (Buck) (Carol) Monroe, Dale (Helen) Monroe, three sisters Joyce Oswald, Faye Revard, Linda (Bob) Cunningham. Newton, June B. - June B. Newton, 82, June B. Newton, age 82, of Grand Rapids, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Grand Itasca Clinic
and Hospital, Grand Rapids. June was born on Aug. 24, 1923 in Grand Rapids to Fred and Lenora (Schoeneck) Harwood. On Dec.
19, 1941, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Newton in Hibbing. She owned and operated Newt’s Coffee Shop in Grand Rapids for
17 years. June was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was the treasurer for the Itasca Medical Center Auxiliary for
11 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Mary Lee Anderson; two grandsons, Martin and Scott Ritter; three
brothers, Robert, Richard, and Donald Harwood; one sister, Betty Hertel, and one son-in-law, Vincent Gallinatti. She is survived by her

Newton, Neil M. - Neil M. Newton. He was born March 4, 1921, in Grand Rapids, the son of Harry O. and Ruth (Fitzgerald) Newton. He
was a 1939 graduate of Grand Rapids High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He lived
in Grand Rapids prior to moving to Virginia in 1968 and returned to Grand Rapids in 1995. He was employed as an engineer for the
DM&IR Railroad, retiring in 1981 after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids
and a former member of the Hope Community Presbyterian Church in Virginia where he served as an elder. He is survived by four
sons, Kurt Newton, Trinidad, Colorado; Wade Newton, Duluth; Carl Newton, Silverdale; and Mark Newton, Lander, Wyoming; three
brothers, Clyde Newton, Harry Newton, and David Newton, all of Grand Rapids; three sisters, June Lane, Grand Rapids; Marion
Kemppainen, Minneapolis; and Bonnie Harvey, Lady Lake, Florida; and seven grandchildren, Matthew Wright, Joshua Newton, Andrea

Nimcheski, Gladys - Nimcheski, Gladys - Of Burton, formerly of National City, MI, age 97, died Thursday, February 19, 2004 at McLaren
Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, February 23, 2004 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison

Twp., MI, the daughter of the late Amos and Flossie Atkin. She worked at Marvel Carburetor for 13 years and was instrumental in
organizing the union there in 1937 and served as the first committeewoman. Gladys was also a member of the Women's Emergency
Brigade of the 1937 Sit Down Strike. Gladys' greatest love was working with beads and making ornaments for friends and relatives. In
the Tawas area she was known as the "Bead Lady". She was a member of the Sand Lake Heights Senior Center and she was united
in marriage to Joseph Nimcheski on January 27, 1934. Left to cherish her memory are: children, Dorothy (George) Davis of Flint and
Warren (Jane) Nimcheski of Burton; grandchildren, Bethany (Carl) Stimson of Otisville, Georgia Mae (Merlin) Griggs of Oscoda,
