Parent, Victoria Robare - Victoria Robare Parent, 97, of Churubusco, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 1984, in CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh. Born in Churubusco May 25, 1887, she was the daughter of Adolphus and Phoebe Patnode Parent. She was predeceased by her husband, Telephore Parent, in November, 1972. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Alden Parent of Churubusco, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church with Rev. Parks, Amanda Jean - Amanda Jean Parks.  She was born May 20, 1985, in Grand Rapids and grew up in Deer River. She was an
eighth grade student at Deer River High School and a member of its danceline. She is survived by her parents, James and Wanda;
brothers, Jimbo, Frank, Steve and Justin, all of Deer River, Bill, Santa Ana, Calif., and George, Flagstaff, Ariz.; two sisters, Kayla, Deer
River, and Lynn, Phoenix, Ariz.; and her grandmother, Jean Hulbert, Grand Rapids. Preceding her in death were her grandparents Roy

- James 'Jim' William Parks, 69, James “Jim” William Parks, 69, Deer River, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, in Deer
River. He was born April 16, 1934, in Otenagen Township to LeRoy and Evelyn (Benson) Parks. He farmed all his life, worked in the
mines, was a truck driver for Kenny Nelson of Squaw Lake and also worked for the pipeline in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and
Iowa. In 1974, he went to Alaska and worked on the Alaskan Pipeline with Operating Engineers Local 302/612 until his retirement. He
loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandson. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Parks, Deer River; eight children, Jimbo
(Terri), Deer River, William “Bill”, Deer River, George (Diane), Flagstaff, Ariz., Frank, Flagstaff, Ariz., Lynn, Phoenix, Ariz., Steven
(Chantel), Pueblo, Colo., Justin (Melissa) Evanston, Wyo., Kayla, at home; 11 grandchildren, Misty, Cody, Haley, Cole, Dorothy Marie,

Parmeter, Aaron
- Aaron Parmenter Dead.  Pioneer Who Came to Michigan From New York State.  Aaron Parmenter, 81 years of age,
died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Stadler, on  the Coldwater road in Mt. Morris townshp, at noon today.  He had been in ill
health for about five weeks, his death being caused by the infirmities of age.  Mr. Parmenter was one of the early settlers of this vicinity.  
He was born in the state of New York, coming to Michigan and locating on a farm one mile from where he died.  For the past four years
he had lived with his daughter.  The deceased leaves a widow and eight children, four sons, and four daughters.  The sons are:
Walter, Fred, Earle and Hawley Parmenter, all of Flint.  The daughters: Mrs Abbie Allen, of Clio; Mrs. Lucy Thomas, of Mt. Morris; Mrs.
Nellie Luce, of Flushing, and Mrs. Henry Stadler.  No arrangements for the funeral have been made.  Flint Journal, May 28, 1909

Parmeter, Earl D. - Earl D. Parmeter, 62 years old, died in Flint township yesterday of heart disease after an illness of four days.  He
was born in Mt. Morris township, July 17, 1870, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Parmeter, and had lived his whole life in Genesee county.  
He was a member of the Court Street Methodist Episcopal church.  He leaves a daughter, Edra Jean of Flint, and three sisters, Mrs.
Lucy Thompson, Mrs. Nellie Luce and Mrs. Grace Stadler, all of Mt. Morris.  Flint Journal, November 30, 1932

Parmeter, Emeline - Mrs. Emeline Parmeter of Mt. Morris Dead.  Mt. Morris, Mich. April 23 - Mrs. Emeline Parmeter, widow of Aaron
Parmeter, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Stadler this morning.  She leaves three daughters and four sons, Mrs.
Nellie Luce, Mrs. Lucy Thompson, and her daughter at whose home she died, the sons are Walter, Fred, Earl, and Hawley Parmeter.  
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., from the residence.  Burial will be made in Mt. Morris cemetery.  Flint Journal, April 23, 1920

Parmeter, Gertrude P. - Parmeter, Gertrude P. - of the McFarlin Home, age 85, died Friday, December 31, 1965, at McLaren Hospital.  
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Floral Chapel, Dodds-Dumanois Co. Funeral Home, Rev. Sam Houston Evans
officiating.  Burial in Grace Lawn Cemetery.  Death was due to complications following a 1 month illness.  Mrs. Parmeter was born in
Flint, Michigan, on June 19, 1880, and was a resident of Flint all her life.  She was a member of Court St. Methodist Church.  Surviving

Parmeter, Lucretia G. - Mrs. Lucretia G. Parmeter.  Death, which is steadily reaping its harvest this winter, took Mrs. Lucretia Parmeter
last Friday.  Mrs. Parmeter, whose maiden name was Lucretia Gamble, was born in Livingston county, New York, April 2, 1845, and
was therefore past 65 years of age.  While a girl she came to Michigan with her mother and resided at Mt. Morris, Genesee county.  
There she was married October 3, 1869, to Walter Parmeter.  About twenty years ago Mr. and Mrs. Parmeter moved to Clare, where
she has since resided.  To this union were born four children, of whom only one survives, Mrs. MIles Smalley of this city, with whom for
the past four years she had made her home.  She left also a sister living in the state of Washington.  Funeral service was conducted at
Miles Smalley's Sunday by Rev. Mr. Shipway.  Monday the body was taken to Mt. Morris for burial.  Clare Sentinel, December 9, 1910

Parmeter, Sarah Maude - Mrs. Sarah Maude Parmeter, 53 years old, died yesterday at her home in Flint-twp of a complication of
diseases, after an illness of nine years.  She was born in Detroit on Feb. 5, 1877, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Theodore Kress.  She
was married to Earl Parmeter on Jan. 19, 1910, in Flint.  She leaves her husband, one daughter, Edra Jean Parmeter of Algonac; one

Parrish, Ann M. - Ann M. Parrish, age 76, of Pinconning, Michigan, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed
away Friday, April 15, 2005, from injuries received in an auto accident.  She was born in Mt. Clemens, MI, on September 11, 1928, the
daughter of the late Moses and Zoe (Fortin) Rattell.   Ann married Charles Parrish on June 29, 1946.  He preceded her in death on
April 13, 1981.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and making quilts.  She made a quilt for each of her grandchildren.  She was
a member of St. Mary's Nine Mile Catholic Church.  She is survived by 5 children: Edward and Paula Parrish, of Oklahoma, Sharon and
Charles Kingston, of Nevada, Shirley and Dave Koczara, of Clinton Twp., Dennis Parrish, of Pinconning, and Cheryl and Greg Sequin,
of Pinconning; 11 grandsons and 5 granddaughters; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by 3
brothers: Sidney, John and Clarence and a sister, Cordelia.  Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at

Patenaude, Florence - Mrs. Florence Patenaude,86 of Cateangay died the past week at the Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. Mrs. Patenaude was born in St. Antoine, Quebec on May 17, 1894. The daughter of William and Delina Ezero. Survivors include two sons Raymond of Mineville and Ernest of Chateaugay, four daughters, Mrs. Leo (Lumine) Leclair of Merrill, Mrs. Henry (Lavine) Bouyea of Chateaugay. Mrs. Arthur (Leane) Bouyea of Witherbee and Mrs. John (Grace) Ryan of Chateaugay, one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Thompson of West Chazy, 29 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren,2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick’s Church in Chateaugay. Rev. Arthur LaBaff celebrated the mass. Bearers were Jack, Leo and Jack H. Bouyea, Pat Ryan, Ray Patenaude and Ernest LeClair. Patnaude, Albert J., Sr. - Patnaude, Albert J., Sr., 87, of Greenville Avenue, a retired teamster with the Local 251, died March 27, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret V. (Holmes) Patnaude. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ernest B. and Ovillanna (Poirier) Patnaude. He had lived in Johnston since 1954. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He leaves two sons, Albert J. Patnaude, Jr. of North Providence and David E. Patnaude of Johnston, a daughter, Carol A. Buckley of Johnston, a sister, Florence Carmody of Scituate, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Ernest, Alfred, and Arthur Patnaude. Patnaude, Alfred J. - Sgt. Alfred J. Patenaude - Military funeral services for Sgt. Alfred Joseph Patenaude, 29, of 6 Maple Street, Cranston, who died in action in Korea, Feb. 16, were held yesterday from the Prata Funeral Home, Providence. Burial was in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston, where a volley was fired by a squad from the Rhode Island National Guard. Bearers were Edward Pomfret, Edward Platt, William Hanley and Frank Miller. Born in Warwick, Feb.11, 1922, Sergeant Patenaude was in the Army seven years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen (Pomfret) Patenaude; and three children, Sandra, Frank and Robert. Patnaude, Alfred O. - Alfred Patnaude, 62, of Pleasant Street, West Warwick died suddenly yesterday at his home. He was the widower of Gertrud (Ullrich) Patnaude. Born in Providence on July 31, 1911, he was the son of Ernest and Oviana (Porier) Patnaude. He was employed as an engineer for the Scituate Water Works for 30 years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Michaud of Sandwich, Mass; three brothers, Ernest and Arthur Patnaude of Coventry, and Albert Patnaude of Johnston; a sister, Mrs. Florence Carmody of North Scituate; and two grandchildren. Patnaude, Arthur H., Sr. - Arthur H. Patnaude Sr., 70, of Shady Valley Road, a fireman for the Narragansett Brewing Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1981, died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Vivian M. (Guertin) Patnaude. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ernest and Ovianna (Poirier) Patnaude. Mr. Patnaude was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Arthur H. Patnaude Jr. of Coventry, Russell O. Patnaude of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Robert E. Patnaude of West Warwick; three daughters, Vivian M. Iadeluca of East Greenwich, Jane F. Salisbury of North Providence and Jacqueline A. Patnaude of Coventry; a brother, Albert J. Patnaude of Johnston; a sister, Florence Carmody of Scituate; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Patnaude, Charles E. - Charles E. Patnaude, 70, of Green Hill Beach Road, a retired consumer-service representative, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Joan ( Jackson) Patnaude. They had been married for 46 years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Charles W. and Mildred (Merrifield) Patnaude, he had lived in South Kingstown for 28 years. Mr. Patnaude had been a consumer representative for the Narragansett Electric Co. for 37 years before retiring. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Bryant College, and a communicant of St. Mary Church, Carolina. He was a past member of the Holy Name Society at St. Kevin Church, Warwick, and a member of the West Warwick Lions Club and the Wakefield Rotary Club. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Air Force Lt. Col. C. William Patnaude in North Dakota; three daughters, Pamela J. Uva in South Carolina, Lori A. Rathbone of Charlestown and Jodi-Lynn Graziano of Warwick; and three grandchildren and a great-grandson. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd., Charlestown. Patnaude, Chester B. - Chester B. Patnaude, 67 of 228 High St., who suffered head and internal injuries when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while apparently crossing Barton Street on Dec 11, died Monday night at Memorial Hospital. The medical examiner’s office ordered the body sent to the state morgue for a determination of the exact cause of death. Mr. Patnaude's death raises the 1978 Rhode Island Highway death total to 114. During 1977, 137 persons were fatally injured on the state's highways. The victim had been reported in poor condition in the hospital intensive-care unit since the accident. Police found Mr. Patnaude unconscious in front of 103 Barton Street near Broad Street, bleeding from a head injury. He was the husband of Victoria (Lachut) Patnaude. A lifetime resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John H. and Helen C. (Bassett) Patnaude. Before retiring 20 years ago, he was a floor man at New England Paper Tube Co for 10 years. Mr. Patnaude was previously employed as a foreman at the Kennecott Wire Co, East Providence for 20 years. Beside his wife, he leave three sons, Paul F. Patnaude of Central Falls, Bruce C. and John H. Patnaude, both of Pawtucket, a daughter, Miss Ann Carol Patnaude of Pawtucket, a brother Lucien Patnaude of Pawtucket, a sister Mrs. Frances Pollitt of San Mateo, Calif. and four grandchildren. Patnaude, George J. - George J. Patnaude, 84, of Keystone Drive, a machine company owner, died Wednesday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Leona G. (Benoit) Patnaude. They had been married for 56 years. Born in Warwick, a son of the late Frank and Marie (Fournier) Patnaude, he had lived in Warwick for 44 years. A machinist, Mr. Patnaude owned and operated the Machine Service Co. He was a Navy veteran of World war II. He was a member of SS. Rose and Clement Parish. He enjoyed gardening. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Brenda L. Monroe of Henry, Va., and Linda L. Lynch of Warwick; a brother, Ernest Patnaude in Australia; two sisters, Irene Miller and Rita Hanley, both of Warwick; and three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Alfred and Edward Patnaude, and Corienne Platt. Patnaude, Hattie M. - Hattie M. Patnaude, 86, formerly of Bradley Street, co-owner with her husband, Lucien H. Patnaude, of the former Pat's Variety Store on Central Avenue in the 1950s, died yesterday at the home of her granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Patnaude had been married for 59 years. A lifelong Pawtucket resident, she was a daughter of the late Gilman D. and Minnie B. (Beckette) Raymond. Mrs. Patnaude was a member of St. Martin Episcopal Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star, Seekonk Chapter, and the American Association of Retired Persons. Besides her husband, she leaves her granddaughter, Kim J. Hodnett, with whom she lived, and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Patnaude was the mother of the late Marilyn B. Brown. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the William W. She was a former member of the Green Hill Beach Club. She was the mother of Pamela J. Uva of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lori A. Rathbone and her husband Donald of Charlestown, Jodi-Lynn Graziano and her late husband Paul of Warwick and C. Patnaude, 88, formerly of Bradley Street, a district representative for Valley Gas Co., Cumberland, for 30 years before retiring in 1974, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Hattie M. (Raymond) Patnaude. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John H. and Ellen F. (Bassett) Patnaude. Mr. and Mrs. Patnaude were owners of Pat's Variety Store on Central Avenue in the 1950s. He was a member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, Jenks Lodge 24, F&AM, the MORA Club and the AARP. He leaves a granddaughter, Kim J. Hodnett of Pawtucket, with whom he made his home; and three great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Marilyn B. Brown. A Masonic Service will be conducted tonight at 7 p.m. by members of the Jenks Lodge at the William W. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and. Eva ( Savoy) Merrifield. She leaves a son, Charles Earl Patnaude of Wakefield; a brother, Edward F. Merrifield of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was sister of the late Kenneth Merrifield. Patnode, Gladys M. - Mrs. Gladys M. Patnode, 89, of the Alder Bend Road, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1992, at the Cedar Hedge Nursing Home in Rouses Point. She was born in Altona Sept. 4, 1902, the daughter of the late Henry and Clara (LaFrenier) Smart. She was a Gold Star mother, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Ellenburg Depot and a member of Holy Angels Church in Altona. Her husband, Frank, died in 1979. Two sons also died before her: Clarence was killed in action in 1944 during World War II, and Laurence died in 1989. Mrs. Patnode is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Marion Patnode of Champlain, Robert and Louella Patnode of Peru and Ralph and Faith Ann Patnode of Altona; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Anita) LaClair of Ellenburg Depot and Mrs. JoAnn Boulerice of Plattsburgh; a daughter-in-law, Jane Patnode of Ellen burg; 24 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leazott-Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at Holy Angels Church in Altona. Pecore, Charles - Charles "Bucky" Pecore, 56, of Margaret Street, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 1997, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh October 12, 1940, the son of Ernest Richard and Pauline C. (LeClair) Pecore. He was a graduate of Mount Assumption Institute, Plattsburgh and was employed at Plattsburgh Distributing and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 125, Plattsburgh. Peets, Fred - Fred Peets passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfred McDonald on West Main Street last Saturday afternoon following a decline in health for the past fourteen months. The deceased was born in Chateaugay 66 years ago a son of the late Henry and Nancy (Sancomb) Peets and moved to Ellenburg with his parents when he was 14 years of age. He was well known and highly regarded by a wide circle of friends as a true Christian man, honest and industrious and his death is keenly mourned. Forty two years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Malinda Dupree and he is survived by his widow, six daughters, Mrs. Paul Miller of Ellenburg, Mrs. William Trombley of Burke, Mrs Elazador Nichols and Miss Adrian Peets of Johnson City, Mrs Alfred McDonald of Chateaugay, Mrs Peter LaClair of Churubusco, one sister, Mrs Charles Senecal of Ellenburg, three brothers, Louis and John of Ellenburg and Samuel of Keene, N.H. Peets, Melinda - Mrs. Fred (Melinda) Peets , 95, of Chateaugay, formerly of Ellenburg Center, died Thursday, Dec. 23, at the Schas Nursing Home in Malone after a long illness.  Born in St. Chrysostome, Quebec, March 18, 1876, she was the daughter of Israel and Marie (Laforet) Dupree.  She married Fred Peets of Ellenburg Center and lived many years on a farm on West Hill.  Mr. Peets died 35 years ago.  They had moved to Chateaugay shortly before his death.  Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Miller of Norfolk, Mrs. Verconda Trombley and Mrs. Alfred (Anna Mae) McDonald, both of Chateaugay, Mrs. Elzior (Anza) Nichols of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Mrs. Peter (Lillian) LeClair of Churubusco, Mrs. Edward (Adrienne) Wegge of Chenango Bridge; one brother, George Dupree of Chateaugay, one sister, Mrs. Emma Bilow of Chateaugay, 27 grandchildren, 75 great- grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Chateaugay.  Buial will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.  Pallbearers were William Senecal, Donald and Floyd Peets, Louis Dupree, Donald Patnode and Andrew Bilow Jr. North Countryman, 1971

Perrou, John F. - Funeral Services For John F. Perrou To Be Held Friday - Monday afternoon while at work, John (Jack) Perrou, died on
the way to Mercy hospital in the F. D. Lee and Son ambulance.  He was 49 years old.  The body is at Trahan Funeral chapel in Bay
City.  The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Ann's church, Linwood, following a service at the chapel at 8:15
a.m.  Burial will take place in the St. Ann cemetery, Linwood.  Mr. Perrou, who was well known to most Pinconnians had been
employed at the Frutchey Bean company's Pinconning elevator as a millman for the past five years.  Before that he was employed at
the Bay Elevators at Kawkawlin for six years.  He was born in Fraser township on November 11, 1902, and was a member of St. Ann's
parish all his life and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 414.  Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Mary Nagy to
whom he was married on December 1, 1934: two sons, James and Gerald at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Schroeder, of Crump; four

Peterson, Bertha - Peterson , Bertha - Of Fenton, age 92, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at HIS Caring Arms Assisted Living. Cremation has taken place. Peterson in Flint on July 1, 1938 and he preceded her in death on February 5, 1972. Bertha retired from AC Spark Plug Division in 1981, with 35 years of service. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Bertha enjoyed gardening and reading her Bible. She is survived by 3 children, Harold and wife Barbara Peterson of Holly, Donald and wife Linda Peterson of Park Falls, Wisconsin, Bethany and husband Thomas Martin of Flint; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; several loving nieces, nephews; and 1 sister, Emma Stadler of Flushing. Pettit, Casey Wayne - Casey Wayne Pettit, age 34, of Pinconning, Michigan, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2005, as a result of an
auto accident.  Casey was born in Midland on November 18, 1970, to Leslie (Tom) and Gail (Wright) Pettit.  He lived in the
Rhodes/Pinconning area all his life.  Casey was an avid sportsman.  His passion was deer hunting, every year he dedicated October,
November, and December to his beloved sport.  He also loved spending time with his family and his many, many friends.  He did
golfing, bowling, softball, and playing cards.  He was a graduate of Pinconning Area High School Class of 1988, and an employee of
Hymmco Corp. of Saginaw.  Casey leaves to cherish his memory besides his parents, a brother, James Pettit of Beaverton; a sister,
Kelly Pettit of Bay City; a niece, Dariyan McWhiney, and his fiance, Bridgett Rashott; also his grandmother, Marion Pettit and many

Pickering, Roselma B. - Roselma B. LaClair Pickering, 92, of Baldwinsville, died Wednesday at the home of her son Ross. Pickreign, Ernest - Ernest Pickreign, 90, formerly of Harrietstown in Saranac Lake, died Tuesday morning at Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. Born June 21, 1887 in Wisconsin, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pickreign. His wife, the former Mabel Lashway, died Dec. 9, 1970. He was a resident of the Saranac Lake area for over 40 years. He had been a farmer and caretaker for several private camps in the area. He is survived by seven sons, Ernest and John of Springfield, Mass., David, Maynard and Gordon of Syracuse; Joseph of Saranac Lake, and Leon of Malone. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Yell of Malone, as well as 35 grandchildren and 60 greatgrandchildren. Pierson, Leith - Leith E. Pierson, 77, of Standish, passed away Friday, July 30, 2004 at Bay Regional Medical Center from
complications following heart surgery.  Mr. Pierson, the son of Fred and Madelyn (Rashotte) Pierson, was born in Pinconning on May
30, 1927.  He married the former Marjorie (Rita) Pomerville on Feb. 15, 1947.  He owned and operated Pierson Sewer Cleaning for
many years and was a lifetime member of St. Michael's Church and a 30-year member of the Dayton, Ohio, Elks Club.  Survivors
include, his wife of 47 years, Marjorie; three sons, Ronald (Cathy) Pierson, Jeffery Pierson and his friend Jean and Max (Sandra)
Pierson; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (Donna) Pierson and Robert (Janice) Pierson; one

Pomfret, William - The funeral of William Pomfret, 60, husband of Sarah (Bulpitt) Pomfret, who died Sunday afternoon at his home, 66 Maple Street, White Village, Cranston, will be held there tomorrow at 1:15 p.m., with service in St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, Cranston Street, at 2 p.m. The Rev Frank T. Poupore, Allien J. - Allien J. Poupore, 83, formerly of Route 189, Churubusco, died Friday, Jan. 20, 1995, at Alice Hyde Nursing Home in Malone, where she had been a resident since July 1990. She was born in Ellenburg Center July 15, 1911, the daughter of Joseph and Amelia (LaBombard) Trombley. She was married to Eli Ernest Poupore April 25, 1932, in St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg. He died Nov. 9, 1989. Mrs. Poupore was a homemaker and she and her husband owned and operated a family farm. Survivors include six sons and daughters-in-law, Ross and Carol Poupore, Lee and Cecilia Poupore and William and Cathy Poupore, all of Churubusco, Ernest and Anne Poupore and Gordon and Marcia Poupore, all of San Mateo, Fla., and Gerald and Lynn Poupore of Lincoln, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Glen Cowan of Chateaugay; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Poupore, Julius - Julius Poupore, Sr., a well known and highly respected citizen of the town of Clinton, died on Monday morning at his home north of this village. Mr. Poupore had been in declining health for a year or more. Powers, Kenneth E. - West Chazy — Kenneth E. Powers, 81, of Stony Acres, West Chazy, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009, at the CVPH Medical Center surrounded by his family. Ken was born, April 17, 1928, in Churubusco, the son of Edwin and Delia (LaClair) Powers. He was predeceased by his parents. He was married to Theresa A. Trombley on Aug. 17, 1949, in St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg by the Rev. Lawrence Mallette. Ken worked on the family farm for many years. He worked 35 years driving a tractor trailer for McCadam Cheese Company, a bulk milk truck for Tri-County Milk Movers and following retirement, the Clinton County CART bus. He took pleasure in spending time with his family and friends and loved to participate in social activities such as family vacations and gatherings and was an active Knights of Columbus member for many years. He was an avid New York Yankee baseball fan. He enjoyed a long and happy retirement with his spouse of 60 years, Theresa. Predovich, George - George 'Judo' Predovich, 84, George “Judo” Predovich, 84, Coleraine, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in Home &
Comfort in Coleraine. Born Oct. 13, 1919 in Bovey, he was the son of Jacko and Slava (Shustarich) Predovich. He was a 1939
graduate of Greenway High School, a graduate of Itasca Junior College, and attended Ducane University in Pennsylvania where he
played basketball and football. He had lived in the Lawrence Lake area prior to moving to Coleraine. Judo and Margaret J. Murphy were
married on Sept. 7, 1941, in St. Basil’s Serbian Orthodox Church in Chisholm. Judo had been an Itasca County Sheriff’s deputy for 14
years, an Itasca County Commissioner for 24 years, had been a maintenance mechanic for Butler Taconite and Hanna Mining, and
built decks, and did snow plowing for many years. He was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Coleraine, the
Greenway Lions Club, the Coleraine Civic Club, and was an Army Veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. He is survived by
his wife; Marge; sons, Jack Predovich of Coleraine, Bill (Sharon) Predovich of Eden Prairie, and Ron Predovich of Bovey; a daughter,
Nancy (Dale) Johnson of Chanhassen; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a sister; Zorey Deutsch of Fargo, N.D.; and a
brother; Nick Predovich of Eveleth. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Duke Skorich and Peter Predovich; and sisters,

Prespare, Edward - The village of Ellenburg Center was saddened by the sudden death of Edward Prespare which occurred Nov. 27 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Rose Blow, with whom he was making his home. Mr. Prespare was born in Ellenburg Center and always lived there. He was married to Miss Millie Begor in 1892 and to their union six children were born, but only four survive: one son, Ezra E. Prespare, of Trout River, and three daughters, Mrs. Rose Blow, of Ellenburg Center; Mrs. Dorothy LaFountain, of Ellenburg Centre, and Mrs. Hazel Pappineau, of Merrill, also two brothers and two sisters, Benjamin Prespare of Mooers Forks; Charles Prespare, of Lyon Mountain; Mrs. Rose LaBare of Star, and Mrs. Addie LaClair of Ellenburg Center. He also leaves 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the Catholic church at Ellenburg Corners and was well attended by friends and relatives, including many form out of town. Prue, James Walter - James Walter Prue, 63, of Lake Street in Chateaugay, died Saturday, May 5, 2001, at his home, under the care of his family and Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Ellenburg on May 2, 1938, the son of Norman and Mildred (Trombley) Prue. Mr. Prue is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Amy Prue of Athens, Ga., Susan and Tony Pina of Albuquerque, N.M., and Wendy and Lee Patnode of Chateaugay; four sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Lynn Prue of Albuquerque, N.M., Warren Prue of Albuquerque, N.M., Duane and Sherry Prue of Chateaugay and Kenneth Prue of Chateaugay; a companion, Rhonda Lamica of Chateaugay and her daughter, Amy Lamica of Chateaugay; a stepson, Micael Cartier of Chateaugay; a stepdaughter, Carole Bracy of Chateaugay; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Parker of Lowville; and a brother, Jerry Prue of Albuquerque, N.M. Those that preceded in death were his parents and a brother, John Prue. For several years, Mr. Prue owned and operated the Shell Station in Chateaugay. He was also employed at Bailey's Ford in Malone, Chateaugay Co-op and in his later years, drove for the Franklin County Medicaid Office, taking patients to their appointments. Pryor, Charles A. - Charles A. Pryor, 1202 Decker, age 68, died Thursday, May 23, 1957, at St. Joseph Hospital.  Funeral services will
be held at 3:30 P.M. Monday, May 27, 1957, from Chapel of the Chimes, Brown Funeral Home.   Rev. Malcolm Stewart officiating.  
Burial in Avondale Cemetery.  Mr. Pryor will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd.  Death was sudden.  He was
born in Flushing, Mich., June 4, 1888.  He lived in Flint for the last 38 years.  Mr. Pryor was employed at the Sterner Sheet Metal and
Roofing Co. for 7 years, retiring in 1949.  Surviving are: Wife, Bertha, 3 sisters, Mrs. Mamie Huntey of Walled Lake, Mrs. Grace Burns of
