Tarkowski, Felix S. - Felix S. Tarkowski rites in Bay City.  Felix S. "Phil" Tarkowski, age 94, of Bay City, Michigan, died Sunday, May 15,
2005, in Bay Regional Medical Center.  He was born to George and Stella (Sladzinski) Tarkowski on August 18, 1910, in Bay City
where he resided all his life.  Before his retirement in 1972, Phil was employed with General Motors Corporation with 43 years of
service.  He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish and its Senior Citizens Club, and was the oldest living charter member of
the church men's choir.  He was also a member of the Legion of Mary, League of Catholic Women and Men, and U.A.W. Local #362
Retirees.  On August 21, 1937, Phil married Agnes Martinski, and she preceded him in death on July 17, 2004.  Surviving family
members include one daughter and two sons: Jane (Art) Krawczyk of Pinconning, Larry Tarkowski and Tom (Pam) Tarkowski of Bay
City; six grandchildren: Susan (Steve) Metz of Northville, Karen (Doug) White of Canton, Michael Krawczyk of Rhodes, State (Jesse)
Rask of Gordon, NE, Yvonne (Brad) Tennant of Auburn, and Keith Tarkowski of Bay City.; as well as six great grandchildren: Chris,
David, and Matthew White, Sam Metz, and Nathan and Kairi Rask.  In addtion to his parents and his wife, he was also predeceased by
two sisters and five brothers: Louise Gwizdala, Helen Krawczyk, John, Bill, Tony, Leo, and Ed Tarkowski.  The Funeral Mass was
celebrated Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Rev. William J. Rutkowski presided and
interment followed in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.  W.A. Trahan Funeral Chapel, Bay City, MI, was in charge of arrangements.

Tate, Dean - Dean Tate.  He was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Tracy, the son of Harry and Iva (Hall) Tate, grew up in Balaton and graduated
from Balaton High School in 1943. He received honors at conference, district and state levels in high school sports baseball, football
and basketball. He served in the Army Air Corps from June of 1943 to December of 1945. As a sergeant, he served with the 508th
Fighter Squadron, 404 Fighter Group in England, France, Belgium and Germany for 18 months winning the Unit Presidential Citation,
Belgium Fourragare and European Theatre Operation with six battle stars. He married Colleen Burnes in Mankato on Feb. 28, 1947.
He continued his education at Mankato Teachers College graduating in 1949. While at Mankato, he lettered in baseball and football
and was captain of the baseball team. Following graduation, the couple made their home in Balaton where he was a teacher and
coach. In 1952 they moved to Morton where he was the industrial arts teacher for close to 40 years, a basketball coach and athletic
director. He moved to Redwood Falls in 1988 following retirement. He was a member of the Morton United Methodist Church, Veterans
of Foreign Wars and American Legion and was active in public and civic activities in Morton. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; seven
children, Mike Tato, Lake Elmo, Barb Unger, Grand Rapids, Dave Tate, New Richmond, Wis., Peggy Kvam, Granite Falls, Terry
Sullivan, Marshall, and John Tate, Benson; three brothers, Jim Tate, Fort Atkinson, Wis., Ken Tate, Portland, Ore., and Don Tate, Green
Valley, Ariz.; and 15 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were three brothers and a sister. Funeral: Friday, Feb. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at

Taupier, John Henry - Motorist Stricken At Wheel of Car - John Taupier Dies After Crossing On Weeden Street. A 51-year-old Ash Street man collapsed at the wheel of his car on Weeden Street last night and was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital. His car caused slight damage as it collided with another parked car. John H. Taupier, 51, of 21 Ash Street, was declared dead oh arrival at the hospital by Dr. Ovride Vezza. Dr. Albert J. Gaudet, medical examiner, said that death was due to natural causes. Oscar L. Knight of 33 Dickinson Avenue, North Providence, was just getting from his car, opposite 673 Weeden Street at St.Luke's Episcopal Church, when the Taupier car hit his at a slow rate of speed. He found Mr. Taupier slumped over the wheel of the car. Assisted by Albert Langevin of 26 Progress Street, Saylesville, who was riding behind the Taupier car and Albert Hamlett of Cecil Street, Saylesville, he carried the man to a variety store operated by Frank Wood at 673 Weeden Street. Mr. Wood notified Sgt. Donald Poirier at police headquarters and ambulance was dispatched. Mr. Langetine told Lieut. Insp. Charles Hill and Insp. Patrick J. Rainey that he had been driving east on Weeden Street about 100 feet behind the Taupier car at a slow rate of speed, when it suddenly started to swerve in the middle of the road and crashed into a parked car. There was slight damage. Also assisting was Norman MacLure of 612 Smithfield Avenue, Lincoln. Mr. Hamlett had just parked his car at the time of the collision and agreed with the statement made by Mr. Langevin. Patrolmen William Flatley and Hiram Newman took the man to the hospital in the police ambulance. Patrolmen Walter Jolle and Edward Kruel assisted Sergeant Poirier at the scene. Mr. Taupier was the husband of Mary V. McLaron Taupier and was born in Pawtucket the son of Henry and the late Georgianna Patnaude Taupier. He resided here for many years and for the past 17 years was a driver-salesmen for Gorman’s Bakery, Central Falls. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Edward's Church and of the United Commercial Travelers. Besides his wife and father, he leaves two sons. John H. Taupier, Jr., of the Navy, stationed in Norfolk and Gerard V, Taupier, of Pawtucket: a daughter, Jeannine, a student at St. Xavier Academy, Providence: a sister. Mrs. Nelson Highling of Pawtucket and a nephew. The funeral will he held Monday at 8:15 a.m. from the Charles X. Cheetham Funeral Home, 422 Weeden Street, followed by a solemn requiem mass, at 9 a.m. in St. Edward's Church, Weeder Street. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Rhode Island. Taupier, Mary V. - The funeral of Mary V. Taupier, 84, formerly of 21 Ash St., who died Dec. 27, was held Dec. 30 in St. Edward's Church, Weeden Street. Burial was in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery. She was the widow of John H. Taupier. Mrs. Taupier was a secretary at the former Coates & Clark Inc. for 21 years before retiring in 1967. A lifelong Pawtucket resident, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Coyle) McLarnon. She was a founding member and past president of St. Edward's Guild Society and a charter member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division No.1. She leaves two sons, John H. born in Flint, Michigan, November 22, 1930 and had been a resident of the Grand Blanc and Flint area his entire life.  He married
Maxine Harvey on January 26, 1957 in Flint.  Mr. Temple was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, a member of the Grand
Blanc Masonic Lodge #571 F&AM.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he was a life member of Burton VFW Post #822,
and a member of American Legion Post #413.  He was past President of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Chapter 13 of Flint.  Mr.
Temple owned and operated the Billie G. Temple SRA Appraisal, serving Grand Blanc for 18 years.  He has been the Grand Blanc City
Assessor for the past 12 years, he was Building Inspector and Assessor for Grand Blanc Twp. for many years, he was Grand Blanc
Township Treasurer from 1968 to 1970.  Surviving are: wife, Maxine; son, William Ross and wife Laura of Flint; 5 daughters, Deborah
and husband John Redmond of Burton, Julie and husband Louis Chicoine of Texas, Cynthia and husband Brian Sabye of Arizona,
Laurie Temple of California, Carey and husband David Thomson of London, England; 6 grandchildren, Peggy, Matthew, David and
Mark Redmond, Derek Temple, Gennifer Sabye; mother, Laney Temple of Flint; 3 brothers, Elvis Cobb of Florida, Estel Cobb of Birch

prayed at 7PM Friday evening at the Activity Center. He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 22, 1952, the son of Jonathan and
Elizabeth Temple and was a resident of Fenton for most of his life.  John was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fenton and a
member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7418.  He loved spending time with his children and granddaughter.  Mr. Temple retired
from Delphi and was a member of UAW Local #651. Surviving are loving companion, Sandra Trepanier; 5 children, Stephen and wife

Thibeault, Selina R. - Mrs. Selina R. Thibeault, 89, of the Frontier Road, died Wednesday, October 23, 1991, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born 18 December 1901 in Churubusco, the daughter of Thomas and Odile (Poupore) LeClair. In her earlier years, she had been employed at the True Stitch Slipper Company in Chateaugay and Malone and later at a clothing manufacturer in Malone. She was a member of the Rosary-Alter Society of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Churubusco. She was a member of the Court St. Helen's No. 100 Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Mrs. Thibeault was also a member of the Churubusco Senior Citizens Group. She was married to Arthur Thibeault, Sept. 27, 1920, in St. Philomena's Church. He died September 1963. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Angela Duval of Plattsburgh and Mrs. John (Louella) Clark of Chateaugay; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Thibeault of Churubusco; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. A son, Thomas A. Thibeault, died May 17, 1990. Her 10 brothers and sisters also died before her. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Chateaugay Funeral Home. Sept. 4, 1865.  She was the child of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Parmeter.  Spent her whole life on same farm.  Was married May 18, 1885, in
Mt. Morris, was a member of the Methodist church in Mt. Morris.  She is survived by her husband, Eleazor, 3 daughters, Mrs. Bruce

1901.  He was a member of the Trinity Missionary Church and former member of Covenant Baptist Church.  Mr. Thompson had served
in the U.S. Calvary, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army Air Corp.  He was employed for 25 years as a draftsman at A.C. Engineering Dept.
retiring in 1967.  Surviving are wife, Jewel; daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Audrey) Thompson, Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Sinn, Mrs. Carol Heidenberger,

Tillotson, Chester - Chester "Chet" Tillotson, 82, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington. He was born May 8, 1926, in Morrisville, the son of Herman S. and Bessie Flanders Tillotson. Chet was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II serving in the Philippine Liberation. He received a Combat Infantry Badge, Liberation Ribbon and one Battle Star. He was a charter member of VFW Post 9653 in Morrisville. He was employed as a mechanic at Terrill's Texaco Station from 1949 until their closing in 1982. He was employed as a custodian at the Lamoille County Courthouse from 1983 to 1988. He enjoyed camping for many years. Chet had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was known as "Uncle Baldy" to the children in the neighborhood. He is survived by his wife, Noella Audet Blake Tillotson; children, Jerry Tillotson and wife, Cheryl of Montpelier; Rhonda Schriber and partner, Jeff of Morrisville; Donnie Blake, Jr. and wife, Julie of Morrisville; Danny Blake and wife, Theresa of Louisville, Ky.; Jeff Blake and wife, Paula of Clayton, N.C.; and Rick Blake and friend, Linda Gilpin of Waterbury; grandchildren, Brianne Schriber, Thomas Morgan Schriber III and wife, Brookes; Aimee, Erin, Daniel, Jr., Caitlin, Matthew, Anthony, Anna, Sylvia, Lindsay and Jonathon Blake; Nicholas Tillotson, Jeffrey Thurber, Kendra Roby, Angela Redding and husband, Jeremy and Laura Conti; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Zachary, and Madison Schriber and Laura Thurber; several nieces and nephews. Tourville, Leo C. - Leo C. Tourville, 75, of 75D Cornelia St., formerly of Ellenburg Center, died Friday, Oct. 4. 1985. at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home. He was born in Chateaugay Oct. 20, 1909. the son of Eugene and Julia (Tourville) Tourville. He was a member of St. Peter's Church. Mr. Tourville had worked for Republic Steel Corp. in Lyon Mountain for 39 years, retiring in 1967. He lived in Ellenburg Center until 1979, when he and his wife moved to Plattsburgh. Survivors include his wife, Rita LaClair Tourville of Plattsburgh; four sons, Donald Tourville of Plattsburgh. Bruce Tourville of Largo, Fla., Robert Tourville of Rochester and Chester Tourville of West Plattsburgh; three half-brothers, Norman Tourville of Ellenburg Center, Lester Tourville of Rochester and Raymond LaGasse of Ellenburg Center; five sisters. April 30, 1949.  He was a member of the first graduating class at St. Mary High School in Mt. Morris.  Mr. Traver was a retired member of
the Mt. Morris City Fire Department.  He retired from Buick Motor Division as Outside Driver with 38 years service.  During his
employment with Buick he served in many capacities.  He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and formerly served as
an usher and was active with St. Joseph Guild.  Surviving are: wife, Martha; daughter, Rosemary and husband Thomas Baker of Mt.
Morris; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Joel and Tyler; sister, Helen Beals of Flint; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death

Traver, Martha - TRAVER, Martha A. - Of Flushing, age 93, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30AM Saturday, May 19, 2007 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Father Thomas Firestone will officiate. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Martha was born in Kennett, MO on February 16, 1914, the daughter of Phillip and Julia (Stoner) Bezenah. She married Bernard C. Traver in Mt. Morris, MI in 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Martha graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1923. She also graduated from U of M with a Master's degree. She taught in the Flint School District for 35 years. Martha served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for 35 years. Martha enjoyed spending time at her cabin at Sand Lake. She also enjoyed the fall colors and hearing a train whistle. Surviving are: daughter, Rosemary Baker of Flushing; grandchildren, Jessica, Joel and Tyler Baker all of Flushing; many nieces and nephews. Trombley, Amelia - Mrs. Amelia Trombley, 100, of Ellenburg Center, died Wednesday, September 6, following a short illness. The daughter of Joseph and Lena LaBarge LaBombard, she was born on November 22, 1871, in Altona and spent her entire life in the Ellenburg-Altona area. She was married to Joseph Trombley who predeceased her 36 years ago. Nine children were born of this union, three of whom survive. Mrs. Trombley celebrated her 100th birthday last November when she received her guests at an Open House held in the Churubusco Town Hall. She had been enjoying good health until about two weeks ago. Her survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eli (Allen) Poupore and Mrs. George (Mamie) Miller of Churubusco, and Mrs. Patrick (Malena) Whalen of Ellenburg Center; one brother, Amos, of Ellenburg Center; 52 grandchildren; 154 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by five sons, Eddie, William, Alvah, Ellsworth, and Roy and a daughter, Ethel, who died in infancy. Trombley, Cecelia M. - Cecelia M. Trombley, age 82, passed away October 31, 2010 at Brian’s House in Bay City, Michigan.  She was born on June 6, 1928 to Edward and Delia (LaBean) Arquette who preceded her in death.  Cecelia married Edmund Trombley on April 26, 1947 in Standish, Michigan.  He preceded her in death in 1998.  She was a member of Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church and was an area resident all of her life. Cecelia is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Robert) Treichel of Standish, Michigan, her son, Gerald (Shirley) Trombley of Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Mila (Larry) Padgett, Scott (Elaine) Treichel, Stacey Trombley and  Eric Trombley; 7 great grandchildren, Conner Padgett, Jeremy and Joshua Treichel, Kaila, Ethan, Eli and Elyzabeth Trombley; 2 sisters, Helen Holson and Marie Willett and several nieces and nephews.  Cecelia was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Mabel Meeker, Isabelle Dickhausen, Lela Sartain and Leualla Arquette and 4 brothers, Harold, John, Francis and Leo Arquette. Trombley, Clara - Clara Trombley, 54, died Friday, Sept. 15, 1989, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Churubusco, May 16, 1935, the daughter of Louis and Rose (Miner) LeClair. Mrs. Trombley was a former member of the St. Edmund’s Altar and Rosary Society and also formerly a member of the Moriah Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She married Ovid E. Trombley on June 11, 1955. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Terry Trombley of Moriah and Steven Trombley of Crown Point; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Laurie) Tennian of Ellenburg Center; one sister, Mrs. Vern (Janet) Sawyer of Parishville: five brothers, Theodore LeClair of Central Square, Joseph LeClair of West Monroe, Charles LeClair of Chateaugay, Victor LaClair of Plattsburgh, and Francis LeClair of Cadyville; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Trombley, Clarence P. - Clarence P. Trombley, 73, of Lake Street, Chateaugay, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone, N.Y. He was born in Ellenburg, N.Y., on Jan. 3, 1929, the son of John and Florence (LaClair) Trombley. He was married to Annette Decosse on Aug. 22, 1950, in St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay. Mr. Trombley is survived by his wife of 52 years, two daughters and sons-in-law, May and Dean Cooke of Massena, N.Y., Deborah and Ray Bastien of Norwich, Conn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Veronica Trombley of Colchester, Conn.; three grandchildren Danielle Clute of Ogdensburg, N.Y., Randall Trombley of Massena, N.Y., Jordan Bastien of Norwich, Conn.; two great- grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Clute of Ogdensburg, N.Y.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Howard and Bernice Trombley of Brattleboro, Vt., Leon Trombley of Chateaugay, N.Y., Ross and Anita Trombley of Chateaugay, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his father on June 8, 1984, his mother on May 19, 2001, and a sister, Irma Kerry. Mr. Trombley attended Ellenburg High School and then Chateaugay High School. He drove bus for Chateaugay Central School from 1955 to 1970. Clarence owned and operated the family farm in Chateaugay for over 40 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed taking walks and driving his 3 wheeler through the woods. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay. Trombley, Corrine P. (Mayer) - Corrine P. (Mayer) Trombley, 88, of Standish, passed away May 20, 2003, at her home with her family at
her side.  Mrs. Trombley was born May 15, 1915, the daughter of Therma and Bella Mayer in Standish.  Corrine married Arthur L.
Trombley on Nov. 26, 1938.  They owned Trombley Auto Parts for 30 years.  She was a member of Resurrection of the Lord Catholic
Church and Daughters of Isabella.  She was very involved in the Parish Thrift Shop.  Mrs. Trombley's life mainly was about helping
others.  Her mother died when she was 12-years old, and she had to quit school to help raise her seven siblings.  She raised three
daughters, while helping her husband establish and run Trombley Auto Parts Store.  She is survived by two daughters, Lois
Andrzejewski of Bay City, and Corrine (Richard) Dubiel of Clio; nine grandchildren, Dale (Tina) Snyder, Dan (Jacqueline) Snyder, Dirk
(Michele) Snyder, Margaret (Tom) Dressing, Cynthia Andrzejewski, Debra (Dan) Clark, Ryan Dubiel, Craig (Laura) Dubiel, Ron Dubiel;
10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Donald, Lawrence and Howard Mayer; three sisters, Leona Flick, Madonna Sheppard, and
Florence (Teeny) Sulkowski; and 27 nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Trombley was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; daughter,

Trombley, Delia L. - Ellenburg Center – Delia L. Trombley, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 22,1997, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh. She was born March 1,1920, in Ellenburg Center, the daughter of Peter D. and Mary (Doody) LaClair. Mrs. Trombley and her husband Ellsworth, operated a dairy farm in Ellenburg Center for many years. She later owned and operated Trombley Greenhouse in Malone. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters Court Little Rose of Ellenburg and a former member and past president of the St. Edmund's Altar-Rosary Society. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh and the Secular Franciscan Order Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Fraternity and Our Lady of the Adirondacks House of Prayer Association in Ellenburg Center. Her husband, Ellsworth Trombley, died Dec. 28, 1948. She later married Leonard E. Trombley. Survivors include her husband; three sons, the Rev. Joseph P. Trombley, pastor of St. Paul's and Assumption churches in Bloomingdale and Gabriels, Robert L. Trombley of Malone and Lenny E. Trombley of Mooers; a daughter, Joan Roberts of Malone; a stepson, Lester Trombley of Malone; two stepdaughters, Doris Mooney of Plattsburgh and Frances Tourville of Ellenburg Center; a brother, Eugene LaClair of Utica; three sisters, Rhada Magoon of Ellenburg Center, Eleanor Gaffney of Winter Garden, Fla., and Hilda Duffina of Brasher Falls; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Trombley, Edsel - Edsel C. Trombley, 78, of Standish, husband, dad and grandfather, passed away at his home with family by his
side, on Wednesday, Jan. 24.  He was born to Mamie and Edmond Trombley on Feb. 5, 1928.  Edsel graduated from Standish High
School and entered the United States Navy in 1946.  In 1951 he married Edith Seder.  They lived in Standish Township and spent most
of their lives in the Standish area.  Edsel is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith; seven children, Kathie (Mick) Demura, Yvonne (Tom)
Jurek; James, Clare, Annette, Noreen (George) Kaczmarek, and Doreen (Ron) White; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
 Visitation was at R.O. Savage Funeral Chapel in Standish on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Trombley, Edward - Edward Trombly, 47, son of Mrs. Joseph Trombly and the late Joseph Trombley, died at his farm home in Burke very suddenly at 11:15 Sunday night. He had been away visiting and when he came home ate a lunch before going to bed when he had a heart attack which proved fatal. Mr. Trombley was born in Ellenburg Center May 30, 1894, and lived there until about 16 years ago when he moved to Burke where he had resided ever since. In February of 1917 he married Evelyn Reynolds, who survives him. Surviving besides his wife and mother are 12 children: Mrs. Norman Prue, of Malone; and Leonard, Ransom, Evangeline, Elnora, Richard, Shirley, Horace, Asa, Ovid Hubert, Floyd and Elizabeth, of Burke; two brothers, William, of Chateaugay; and Eldred, of Ellenburg Center; four sisters, Mrs. Patrick Whalen, Mrs. Eli LeClair, and Mrs. George Miller, of Ellenburg Center; and Mrs. Eli Poupore, of Churubusco. Trombley, Elmer T. - Elmer T. Trombley rites in AuGres.  Elmer T. Trombley, age 75, of Standish, Michigan, passed away Tuesday,
January 28, 2003 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw.  He was born July 7, 1927 in Bay City.  He was a WWII Veteran serving in the
U.S. Army.  He sailed the Great Lakes and worked for Consumers Power Co. retiring in 1981.  Elmer married the former Dorothea
Badour and she preceded him in 1996.  He was a member of the American Legion Post and St. Marks Catholic Church.  Survivors are
9 children: Vicki (Terry) Whitney of Bentley, Rose (Russ) Steiner of Saginaw, J. Edward (Ann) Trombley, Mike (Sandy) Trombley of
Standish, Janet (Wayne) Ensign of Saginaw, Becky (Bob) Colburn of Pinconning, Karen Penkala of Saginaw, Pat (Julie) Trombley of
Standish and Doug (Amy) Trombley of Bay City; 20 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Maeylou (sic) Bugh and 1 brother,
Tom (Nancy Trombley).  He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Rose; 1 brother Fr. J. Edward Trombley and 4 sisters:

Born in Ellenburg Center on Jan. 17, 1902, she was the daughter of Peter and Agnes (Coopy) LaClair. She was married to John J. Trombley on Oct. 15, 1919, in St. Edmund ’ s Church, Ellenburg. He predeceased her on June 8, 1984. Mrs. Trombley is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Howard and Bernice Trombley of Brattleboro, Vt., Leon Trombley of Chateaugay, Ross and Anita Trombley of Chateaugay, and Clarence and Annette Trombley of Chateaugay; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. Those that preceded in death were her parents, a daughter, Irma Kerry, a granddaughter and grandson, and two sisters, Emma Bosley and Lena Hobbs. Trombley, Gilbert H. - Zephyrhills, Florida formerly of Davison, Age 66, died Friday, May 14, 1999 at Vencore Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Gilbert was born in Pine River, MI on October 26, 1932, the son of Gilbert and Grace Trombley. He married Lois Ann Baum on February 27, 1954 at St. John Catholic Church in Standish, MI. Gilbert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Lois; seven children: Susan Waldecker (Darryl), Laurel Trombley (Bill), Tari Rowan (Mark), Ted Trombley (Susan), Julie McFarland (Mike), Marc Trombley (Shelly) and Leslee Stinson; 19 grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters: Kenneth Trombley (Rosemary), Marie Koelsch, Kate Raymond (Clarence), Gertrude LaFave (Robert), Robert Trombley (Jean), Gladys Umphrey and Joseph Trombley (Carol); many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Trombley, Irene P. - Irene P. (Gwizdala) Trombley, age 78, of Bay City, Michigan, loving wife, and mother, passed away at home early
Thursday morning, April 29, 2004.  She was born to Stanley and Cecelia (Tomczak) Gwizdala on April 13, 1926 in Bay City, where she
resided all her life.  Irene was previously employed at the former Kahn Jewelry Store for many years.  She was a member of St. James
Parish and its Altar Society, as well as the Felician Sisters Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Council #414 Auxiliary, T.O.P.S., and League
of Catholic Women and Men.  On September 27, Irene married Andrew J. Trombley, and they shared their lives together for 56 years.  
Andy survives her along with their four sons and daughter: Eugene A. (Joyce) Trombley of Medford, NJ (and their children: Aaron, Alicia,
Amber, and Adrienne), Terence L. Trombley of Bay City, Thomas E. (Denise) Trombley of Saginaw Township, Anne (Randy)
Charbonneau of Linwood (and their children: Andrew, Amy Angie, and their granddaughter, Hannah) and Randall P. (Susan) Trombley
of Commerce, MI (and their sons: Andrew and Thomas); her sister, Esther Staszak; a sister-in-law, Lucille Gwizdala; sisters-in-law
and brothers-in-law: Grace Stefanski of Munger, James (Verna) Trombley, Arthur (Erna) Trombley, and Lawrence "Ozzie" (Corrine)
Trombley, all of Reese; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Connie
Gwizdala; step-father, Sylvester Kaczmarek, and two sisters-in-law, Helen Solgat and Margaret Wazny.  The Funeral Mass was
celebrated Monday, May 3, 2004 at 10 a.m. in St. James Church.  Rev. Jack R. Johnson presided and interment followed in St. Patrick

Trombley, John J. - John J. Trombley, Chateaugay. John J. Trombley, 88, of Burchacon Apartments, died Friday, June 8,1984, at Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. He was born on July 22, 1895, in Ellenburg Center, the son of John and Delia (Pelkey) Trombley. Mr. Trombley was a dairy farmer for many years and a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Chateaugay. Survivors include his wife, Florence LaClair Trombley, whom he married Oct. 15, 1919, in St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg; four sons, Howard Trombley of Brattleboro, Vt, and Leon, Ross P. and Clarence P. Trombley, all of Chateaugay; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Trombley of Peru and Mrs. Delia Gailardtez of Pittsburgh; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Erma Perry, died in 1950. Two brothers, Fred and Louis Trombley, and a sister, Cora LaClair, are all dead. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chateaugay Funeral Home. Trombley, Joseph P. - Ellenburg Center and surrounding communities are saddened by the death of Joseph F. Trombley, which occurred at his late home, Saturday afternoon, April 6th, following several days illness of pneumonia and a fatal heart ailment. Mr. Trombley had resided there all his life, and was a very industrious man, a fine friend and a kind, good neighbor. He was in his 69th year of age and engaged in farming, always taking a leading active part in carrying on the farm work, assisted by his sons. Mr. Trombley and family resided on what is known as the Phelps Corner, located one mile north of Ellenburg Center. In his early manhood he was united in marriage with Amelia LaBombard, who survives him with three sons and four daughters, Edmond, of Burke, William and Ellsworth, Mrs. Eli LaClair, Mrs. George Miller, Mrs. Patrick Whalen, of Ellenburg Center, and Mrs. Eli Poupore, of Churubusco. The funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 9th, at 10 o'clock, at the St. Edmund church, at Ellenburg, with Rev. O. A. Boyer, officiating with requiem high mass. The service was largely attended, showing the high esteem held for Mr. Trombley. Interment was made in the family plot in the church cemetery. Trombley, Kenneth - Kenneth G. Trombley, 87, of Standish, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005 at St. Mary's Standish Community
Hospital.  Mr. Trombley was born on March 22, 1918 in Standish, the son of Gilbert and Grace (Boadway) Trombley.  He married
Rosemary (Francis) in 1964.  Ken was a WWII Vet and member of the VFW DAV.  He was wounded on May 4, 1945 in Germany.  
Survivors include: his wife Rosemary, one son, Leonard Trombley of Standish; one daughter, Judy (Ray) Dew of Standish; eight
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Trombley; and two sisters, Marie Koelsch and Kathleen Raymond.  He was
preceded in death by his first wife, Ilene LaLonde; three sons, Lee, Floyd and Harry Trombley; four brothers, Bob, Gilbert, Leonard and
Louis; and two sisters, Gertrude LaFave and Gladys Umphrey.  Kenneth was a lifelong resident who owned and operated his own
farm and had been employed at Magline, retiring in 1980.  Funeral services were held on Monday, May 16, at Resurrection of the Lord
Catholic Church in Standish with Father Richard Jozwiak officiating.  Burial was at the Pine River Cemetery in Standish.  R.O. Savage

Trombley, Leonard - Cpl. Leonard Trombley, 20, U. S. Marine Killed in Action on Iwo Jima. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Trombley, of Ellenburg Center, have learned through a War Department telegram that their son, Cpl. Leonard Trombley, 20, was killed in action on Iwo Jima on March 5, while in combat as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Cpl. Trombley, a veteran of action on Saipan, enlisted in the Marines during December, 1942, and trained at Parris Island, S. C. and Camp Pendleton, Calif, before his assignment to duty in the Pacific Theatre in January, 1944. He was home on furlough for the last time in July, 1943. An honorably discharged corporal of the CCC, Cpl. Trombley was employed at the Holcombe Steel Company in Syracuse before his enlistment. Born on June 17, 1924, he spent most of his life at Ellenburg Center and attended the local schools. He was a member of St. Edmund's church at Ellenburg. Surviving him besides his parents are four sisters and eight brothers, two of whom are in service. Cpl Manfred Trombley in Germany; and Pvt. Erving Trombley, in Italy. Brothers and sisters who live at home are: Bernadette, Bernice, Marie, James, Ivan Robert and Algier. Trombley, Leonard C. - Chateaugay Lake , N.Y. — Leonard C. Trombley, 90, formerly of Chateaugay Lake, died on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, N.Y. Born in Ellenburg Center on June 20, 1919, he was the son of Edward and Evelyn (Reynolds) Trombley. He attended school at Ellenburg Center, and when the family moved to Burke in 1925, he attended Burke public schools and worked on the family farm. He was a 4-H Club member and a leader for many years. He was also a past member of Burke Grange and served as master. In 1952, he worked at Republic steel mines in Lyon Mountain until their closing. On Oct. 20, 1952, in St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg, he married Della Leclair Trombley. This marriage ended in separation on Sept. 13, 1968. After their marriage, Mr. Trombley and his wife operated Trombley's Greenhouse and flower shop as a partnership from 1955 to April of 1966. Mr. Trombley moved to Syracuse in 1967 and was employed by General Electric for 20 years. After retiring in 1987 and after making his home in Central Square for 20 years, he bought a camp at Chateaugay Lake and spent his summers there. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church, Central Square and St. Jude's Church, Brainardsville. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Lenny and Wanda Trombley of Malone and Scott and Cathy Trombley of Brewerton; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five siblings, Shirley Tavernier and her husband, Leonard of Altona, Horace Trombley and his wife, Esther of Ellenburg Center, Elnora Smith of Ellenburg, Floyd Trombley and his wife, Dorothy of San Mateo, Fla., and Asa Trombley of Lowville; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Trombley was predeceased by his parents; his ex-wife, Della Trombley; three sisters, Mildred and Evangeline Prue, Elizabeth Boyea; and four brothers, Ransom, Herbert, Richard and Ovid Trombley. Trombley, Louis - Louis Trombley, 51, a former resident of this town, and later a resident of Brattleboro, Vt., met his death when the light truck he was operating went out of control and overturned. The deceased was born in Ellenburg, a son of the late John and Cordelia (Pelkey) Trombley, and for the past 10 years has been employed in lumbering operations in Vt. He is survived by his widow, formerly Virgie Benjamin, four sons, Marvin, Maynard and Francis, of Brattleboro, and Claude who is a junior at St. Michael's College, 2 brothers, John of Malone, and Fred of East Hampton, Mass. Also 2 sisters, Mrs. Peter LaClair of this town, Mrs. Bernard Trombley of Plattsburg, and Mrs. Henry Sallerdetz of Malone.

Trombley, Michael Floyd - Michael Floyd Trombley, 46, of Mt. Morris, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, in Flint, after a long battle with heart disease. Funeral services took place Thursday, Jan. 21, at Myles and Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, burial followed at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly with military honors. Michael was born Oct. 27, 1963 in Bay City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd and Diane Trombley and later adopted and raised by Rebecca Trombley. He and Tricia Jones were united in marriage on Oct. 19, 1996. Michael served in the United States Army for four years before receiving his honorable discharge. Michael worked as a painter for a number of years before moving on to International Paper, where he was a corrugator operator for 10 years. Michael enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, golfing and a devoted short track racing fan. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 13 years, Tricia; seven children, Michael Bradley Trombley, Eric (Jodi) Trombley, Amber (Ronald) Firman, of Standish, Joshua (Brenda) Trombley, of AuGres, Scott (Teresa) Blaska, Patty (Jimmy) Aidif and Jon (Emily) Yettaw, of the Flint area; six grandchildren, Destiny, Alexis, Richard, Hunter, Landon and Gracie; sister, Michelle (Art) Long-Trombley; brother, Steven (Connie) Trombley, of Standish; mother and father-in-law, Mike (Jackie) Schanick, of Mt. Trombley, Rosemary - Trombley, Rosemary, of Standish, Michigan, age 87 years, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at St. Mary's Standish Skilled Nursing Facility. She was bom to Harry and Stella (Rashotte) Francis on July 31, 1922 in Standish. Rosemary was first married to Leonard Trombley and then Kenneth Trombley who both have preceded her in death. She was a member of the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish and a resident for most of her life in the Standish area. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Judy (Ray) Dew of Standish and her son, Leonard and his friend, Judy of Standish; 4 grand daughters and 4 grandsons; 23 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Floyd and Harry Trombley, a grandson, Mark Sprague and her sister and brother. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish. Trombley, Thomas - Thomas Francis Trombley, 60, of Standish, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at home.  Mr. Trombley was
born June 10, 1943, in Omer.  He married the former Nancy Holmberg in 1973.  He retired from Northern Tube and was  a U.S. Army
Veteran.  He was also an avid outdoorsman and a member of the NRA and UAW.  Survivors are: his wife, Nancy; five children, Cindy
(Chad) Cranmer of Rockford; LaVonne (Jason) Pritchard of Standish; Tom Trombley of Standish; Teresa (Brian) Frost of Alger; and
Amanda (Josh) Holbrook of Standish; and two grandchildren, Smantha and Erica.  Thomas was preceded in death by two brothers,
Father Edward and Elmer, and four sisters, Lillian, Roseanne, Arlene, and Alice.  Funeral services were Aug. 1, from St. Mark's

Trombley, Verconda M. - Verconda M. Trombley, 86, of Chateaugay died Saturday, Jan. 3, 1987, at, Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. She was born April 15, 1900, in Ellenburg Center, the daughter of Fred and Melinda (Dupree) Peets. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Chateaugay and a member of the St. Patrick’s Altar-Rosary Society. She was a member of the Paul E. Harrica Post 785 American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include three sons, W. Armand Trombley and A. Ross Trombley, both of Chateaugay; and Lloyd W. Trombley of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Bilow of Oviedo, Fla., Mrs. Donald (Madora) Patnode of Chateaugay and Mrs. Elmer (Jean) Mainville of Malone; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Anna Mae) McDonald of Chateaugay, Mrs. Anna Nichols of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Adrian Wegge of Binghamton; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Her husband, William P. Trombley, died July 25, 1958. A son, Eldon Trombley, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Miller and Mrs. Lillian LeClair, also died earlier. Trombley, William P. - Wm. Trombley Passed Away On July 25. The community was saddened to learn of the death of William P. Trombley which occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July, 25th at the Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone. On the previous Wednesday he suffered a heart attack while driving his car near Chateaugay Lake. Ha had not been well before he was stricken with the coronary attack. Mr. Trombley was born in Ellenburg Center May 4, 1900, a son of Mrs. Amelia (LaBombard) Trombley and the late Joseph Trombley, of Ellenburg Center. He married Miss Verconda Peets on August 20, 1918, in a ceremony performed at Ellenburg Corners. A resident of Ellenburg Center until 1935, Mr. Trombley then moved Chateaugay and in July 1953, entered the employ of the Chateaugay Co-Op, a position he held at the time of his death. Mr. Trombley was a farmer before he became associated with the Chateaugay Co-op. Mr. Trombley was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Wadhams Council, Knights of Columbus. He was a kind and considerate man ever mindful of the welfare of others and his death is deeply mourned. Surviving besides his wife and mother are three daughters: Mrs. Gerald (Vivian) Bilow, Westville; Mrs. Donald (Madora) Patnode and Miss Jean Ann Trombley, Chateaugay; four sons, Eldon J. Trombley, Ellenburg Depot; Armond W., Ross A., and Lloyd W. Trombley, Chateaugay; four sisters, Mrs. Eli (Edna) LaClair, Ellenburg Center; Mrs. George Mamie) Miller, Churubusco; Mrs. Patrick (Malina) Whalen, Ellenburg Center; and Mrs. Eli (Aileen) Poupore, Churubusco; and 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services took place on Monday morning at St. Patrick's church Monday morning. Rev. Donald Gallagher officiated and burial was made in St. Edmund’s cemetery at Ellenburg.
